Impossible to foresee such crashes 1 photo

They say one can never be aware enough when on the road, and especially when riding a motorcycle. Dangers lurk even when everything looks calm, and motorcyclists are said to ride in the wake of danger at any point. The video below shows how true such words are, unfortunately.
The footage comes from an all-girls ride between Anaheim and Long Beach, in California, consisting of more than 30 ladies aboard various types of motorcycles and with different riding skills.

According to one of the witnesses to the crash, not all the participants knew each other, and this prompted her to be extra careful. She mentions that she and a few of her friends felt uncomfortable with riding close to people whose motorcycle habits were unknown and preferred to stay toward the back of the pack.

After 10-15 minutes, a silver car veered hard to the left out of the blue, smashing into the divider and bouncing back and blocking the lanes. Two ladies collided with the car and a third motorcycle, reportedly ridden by a male also fell to the ground after running into a motorcycle that was on the ground.

The ride was stopped and emergency services alerted. The first info that was obtained from the two car drivers involved in the crash is contradictory. The driver of the silver car says that he was rear-ended and lost control, whereas the second driver says that the car in the front braked hard for no reason.

As the crash took place days ago, we can assume that the police are investigating the circumstances. Reportedly, no rider was seriously injured in the crash, but watching how things unfolded only makes us think more about rider safety and protective gear, especially during group rides. Stay safe out there, folks!
