Great Reflexes and Anticipation Avoid Crash

After seeing so many crashes posted here, it’s time for a video that’s a little more positive - something from which we can learn without any car damage or injuries. Pulling out from a small street where visibility is poor, try to pull out at an angle to the street you’re pulling into, so as your car doesn’t protrude out too much, while still offering you decent visibility.
The driver pulling out in this video is clearly inexperienced and simply wanders into the road, with visibility probably blocked by the B- or C-pillar of the MPV. Thankfully, the driver of the car with the dash-mounted cam anticipated the whole thing and managed to avoid the crash, but we think that at least some drivers wouldn’t have been able to predict even a few seconds of the future and would have smashed straight into the white MPV.

So, don’t whatever you do when pulling out of a tight junction with a larger road ever come out ‘nose’ first with your car, as you don’t really see appropriately and someone will might hit you. Always come out at an angle and look at least twice before you go.
