Grand Theft Auto III, the first 3D incarnation of the infamous game, is turning 10 and Rockstar Games, its developer will celebrate in style, as it is set to release a special edition, as well as an incarnation for portable devices.
However, the mobile versions will offer a much better coverage for Android users than for iOS ones, since the game will be available for phones like Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Evo 2, LG Optimus 2X, Motorola Atrix, tablets such as Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad, Motorola Xoom, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1., but is only available for the iPad2 and iPhone 4S (no iPhone4 version).
And this is not an-all virtual story, as Rockstar is bringing it to the real world, announcing that it will release a limited-edition 1:6 scale action figure of the GTA 3 character Claude. This might come with a multitude of clothes and weapons but to make it yours you’ll have to spend $149.99.
