2012 BMW 3-Series F30 First Videos

Today is certainly BMW 3-Series day, with the German carmaker giving us a new generation of the car. We’ve shown you the first photos of the sedan a bit earlier and now it is time to see the first video. Actually it’s the first videos, since the company has launched a general one, as well as specific ones for the luxury, modern and sport lines (these are equipment levels).
The engine range will only featured turbocharged units, but since we’ve already covered that topic here, we’ll move on to the body of the car, which has grown in size.

The 3-Series is now 93 mm/3.66 in. longer, with a 50 mm/1.96 in. increased wheelbase and a wider track (front + 37 mm/1.46 in., rear + 47 mm/1.85 in.). The extra space has been used especially to give the rear passenger more room. Fortunately, despite the increase in size, the vehicle is a bit lighter, tipping the scales 88 lbs (40 kg) lower than before.
