We constantly keep an eye out for examples of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS that stand out. And the one we have here is a fresh arrival, with the hue of the machine allowing it to stand out in a special manner.
To be more precise, the dealer that took delivery of this Porscha states that the 700 horsepower toy is dressed in a hue labeled as Gold Metallic. As the social media-based Porsche registry that brought this Zuffenhausen monster to our attention explains, the dealer that recently took delivery of this machine confirmed the name of the color. Note that the rear-engined tool landed at Porsche Bellevue in Washington.
You see, when it comes to GT Division Neunelfers, Porschephiles can be split into two main camps. The first believes that the rear-engined toys should feature restrained shades, while the second talks about the eye candy benefits of screaming colors (here's a Miami Blue example or you can check out the Chromaflair Gold unit in the images above).
Well, Gold Metallic is a Paint To Sample shade that can be pretty difficult to label, at least as far as the two categories mentioned above are concerned.
Regardless of the track special's main color, we notice the visible carbon bits of the Weissach Package, which match the black finish of the uber-light magnesium wheels fitted to the car.
The spec of the 911 GT2 RS we have here also includes all-LED headlights, which come with black inner graphics.
And while we can't see the interior of the car, we are still able to notice the full bucket seats presents inside the vehicle.
