Here’s a case study into how you can make a bad car even worse: you take a city car that’s not selling well (Aston says its supply, we say it’s demand) and ad something that will make people who don’t have the money to buy it dislike it even more.
The Golden Aston Martin Cygnet, which was first reported on by Autoblog.nl, received the dreaded cosmetic treatment at their headquarters in Gaydon, UK. The pictures that were uploaded to Facebook by Aston Martin definitely deserve plenty of Dislikes, but the social media website does not have such a button.

We would have been willing to turn a blind eye if Aston had made a golden DBS, but the little Cygnet is a rebadged Toyota iQ, powered by a 1.3 liter straight-four engine which provides just 100 horsepower.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
