The current generation of the SEAT Ibiza has been on the market since 2008, so it needed a refsresh, so the Spaninsh carmaker decided to offer it one. The vehicle was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show back then and this year’s edition of the Swiss event brings us the facelift.
We are talking about major modifications and we’ll start with the exterior, which has received revised fascias and grilles, LED lights for both the front and the rear (however, these are optional), as well as new wheel designs. You can see these in detail in the adjacent image gallery.

As for the tech side of the story, the main novelty is the introduction of a start-stop system, which will help the car increase efficiency. Since we’re here, we’ll also tell you that customers can choose between a total of five petrol and diesel engines.

We also caught up with the Ibiza FR hot supermini, a direct competitor to the Clio RS and the Abarth 500 esseesse. The fact that it's gotten a few extra touches and some LED additions will keep the fans happy for a few more years.
