For the 2012 edition of the Geneva Motor Show, which is looking to be the biggest ever, Italian design house Italdesign Giugiaro came with a very special little conept for a four-seater GT car.
The exterior of the car is not going to scare little children away, but there’s plenty of crazy mixed in for good measure. For instance, instead of having regular mirrors, they been moved to... wait for it... the steering wheel!

The car built by the Italdesign Giugiaro plant at Moncalieri is powered by a hybrid powertrain based on a VW Group 3.0-liter V6. The output sits at 360 hp, which results in a leisurely stroll to 100km/h (62mph) in 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 275km/h (171mph).

"2012 will be an important year for us and for the Group, and with this car we want to continue to allow people to dream and to imagine the future," said Giorgetto Giugiaro. "This is an exercise to show a vehicle that delivers awesome sports car performance in an eco-friendly manner, to show great technological content, and above all to have superb comfort," he added.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
