When talking abut an Audi station wagon at the Geneva Motor Show, everybody thinks of the RS4 Avant. However, this is not the only four-ringed Avant goodie that debuted at the Swiss event - There’s another one: the 2013 A6 Allroad.
The vehicle is larger than the regular A6 Avant, as it measures 4.94 meters (16.21 ft) in length, 1.90 meters (6.23 ft) in with and 1.47 meters (4.82 ft) in height, as well as riding 60 mm (2.36 inches) higher than this.
The car features an air suspension that allows the driver to play with the ride height - this can be raised by 35 mm (1.38 inches) for rough terrain or lowered by 15 mm (0.6 inches) for high speed driving. We have to tell you that this concept gives you mixed feelings, as its fascias don’t really offers you confidence in throwing it off the road, but the aforementioned tech stuff inspires you to do so.
As for the engine range, this includes a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI petrol that produces 310 hp and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque, and two versions of the 3.0 TDI diesel with either 204 hp or 245 hp, as well as the carmaker’s new 3.0-liter BiTDI unit delivering 313 hp.
