Mercedes-Benz is celebrating 125 years of acting on the automotive stage in 2011, with the automotive producer making multiple birthday presents to itself. One of these is the C-Klasse Coupe, a vehicle that will allow the C-Klasse to become stronger in the fight with the Audi A5 and BMW 3 Series. The German carmaker said that it is aiming to bring new customers to the brand with the release of this model.

The front of the car follows the recipe used by the entire facelifted C-Klasse range, but, moving to the profile, you immediately notice the flood of dynamic lines. The Coupe is flatter, uses a narrow C pillar and comes with muscular shoulders.

The interior isn’t too different from the one you get in the other members of the revamped C-Klasse range. And this is not a bad thing, as you get a new generation of telematics, with the list of goodies including reater operating convenience, larger displays, phone book transfer, display of SMS messages, wireless music reproduction via Bluetooth and a USB interface that is located in the center armrest. In addition to that, the COMAND multimedia system now offers Internet access.

The carmaker has made efforts to offer the vehicle agile hangling, with the front axle using a three-link construction with McPherson spring struts and the rear one coming with a multi-link independent setup.

Customers who really want to use their vehicles to generate a high level of G forces can order the AMG Sports Package, which brings an even sportier suspension and a speed-sensitive steering.
