Whoever made this cool commercial for Total France (a company called BETC) has watched every recent sci-fi movie and played quite a few video games. It's pretty cool and judging from the costumes and special effects, the commercial must have cost a fortune.
The first neat thing about this ad is that we finally get to see somebody stick the green fuel nozzle into a spaceship. I do that every week, and it's nice to imagine my little turbo goes into hyperdrive when I give it a tank full of premium unleaded.

Anyway, there's this crew of really awesome space travelers from across the universe. They look bored and tired when the alarm goes off. Have they been hit by phase disruptors? No, the tank is empty because somebody forgot to fill it up.

Luckily, their ship runs on regular gas, and they have just enough of it to reach the nearest Total gas station, precariously placed on what looks like an asteroid circling Saturn or Jupiter.

The space travelers are immediately amazed by the location and the quality of services. While the hot space chick fills her up with gas, the guys go inside to check things out. The intergalactic frog creature, who reminds us of Rocket Racoon from Guardians of the Galaxy, plays with the fridge. Either the cold or the fresh food and snacks play havoc with his colors.

The obvious thing to do for the robot alien is to pour a hot cup of coffee over his face mask. It gets him all hyped up and jumpy, which is what happens to me when I drink one of those tiny espressos from the machine.

As for the Chubaka with bug eyes, he plays with the dryer and gets his fur all wet in the bathroom. I don't want to be the guy who has to clean the clogged sink after him!

The big point is that they leave the station apparently happy and re-energized. The spaceship takes off, and they are ready to travel for a few more light-years thanks to Total.
