Public restrooms are not quite the best places to... you know, “rest” there. I know people that prefer to hold on until home than using a gas station toilet for number two. However, if you’re traveling to the Philippines, you might want to check their gas station toilets, because you might find one like this.
There’s a gas station toilet video tour going viral over the internet now that was filmed in Tagbilaran City, Bohol by Canadian TV personality Jason Godfrey and after seeing it, our only hope is that every single other facility will take it as an example and feature a similar restroom.

Opening the standard gas station toilet door reveals a long room adorned with wood furniture, a very long mirror to create a bigger space feeling, nice paintings, model sail boats, a large rack with reading material and even tiki lamps.

Makes you feel like home, or even better

It’s not particularly classy since it’s not following a certain theme, but it scores best at making you feel cozy. Which is the main thing a toilet room needs to ensure along with cleanliness.

Don’t know if you ever thought about this, but it’s a cave-man instinct to ensure your safety before using the loo. Our ancestors were checking their surroundings for any predators or enemies before taking a dump to avoid being taken by surprise in their most defenseless moment.

Guess the “caught with your pants down” saying is older than we thought. However, returning to out comfortable little toilet in Asia, we’ll have to tell you it’s not the single one looking like that. There happens to be a big competition in the Philippines to offer the best price and value added services to attract tourists.

After all these, were now sitting here wondering how does the women bathrooms looks like in those gas stations...
