G-Power Promises to Give the BMW M3 GTS Over 600 hp

If you are a BMW fan, then the M3 GTS comes pretty close to perfection. With 450 horsepower, lightweight body and purposeful looks, it could arguably be called one of the best 3-Series models of the current generation.

But for famed BMW tuner G-Power, this was clearly not enough, as they found it wanting in one key element: “the ultimate output”. That’s why the tuning house is adding its SK II CS 'Sporty Drive' supercharger, along with a series of other mechanical tweaks, which will enable the M3 GTS to unleash over 600 horsepower. Details on other upgrades are scarce, but buyers should expect an improved braking system and some minor chassis improvements.

"After this modification the BMW M3 GTS can finally show the armada of Porsche 911 GT3 RS who’s the boss at the various clubsport racing events," said G-Power in a statement. Only time will tell whether this M3 GTS on steroids can give the 911 GT3 RS a run for its money, but what we really want is to hear a supercharged M3 roar into action.

“The BMW M3 GTS seams to have all it takes for being the ultimate BMW M3: lightweight body parts, carbon aerodynamic parts, titanium exhaust, racing suspension, roll cage and racing bucket seats for six-point seatbelts. BMW is right when they call it an extreme athlete for street and racetrack,” states G-Power’s official press release.

The standard GTS comes in an eye-catching orange paintjob that is a throwback to extreme Bimmers of old. It sits on a set of exclusive 19-inch competition alloys, wrapped in 225/35 rubber up front and 285/30 in the rear.
