When we hear the G-Power name, the first thing that comes to our mind is “the world’s fastest saloon car”, as the tuner’s BMW M5 Hurricane RS, which uses a bi-supercharged 750 hp V10 engine managed to clock 367.4 km/h (228 mph) back in 2008. Earlier this year, the company took things one step further, using the M5 Hurricane RR, a 800 hp evolution of the project.
Now, G-Power offers the engine from the M5 Hurricane RR for the M6 four-seater coupe. The company claims that this makes the G-Power M6 Hurricane RR the world’s fastest four-seater coupe.
But let’s get to the list of mods. The V10 engine has been fitted with two ASA T1-316 radial superchargers that use a dual-flow, water-cooled charge air cooler system, which comes finished in orange. The unit has received Mahle high-performance forged pistons with lower compression and increases stiffness, which come with new con rods and piston pins. All these are managed by a new ECU software. The results are staggering: 800 hp between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 800 Nm at 5,000 rpm.
All that muscle allows the coupe to deal with the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint in a supercar-rivaling time of 4.35 seconds. If the driver keeps squashing the pedal on the right, the two-tone monsters will hit 124 mph (200 km/h) in 9.5 seconds (from a standstill), while the 186 mph (300 km/h) barrier is reached in 24.9 seconds.
Of course, the car has also receive an exterior aerodynamic kit that allows a better control at high speeds, using carbon fiber elements. The vehicle rides on 20-inch G-Power Silverstone Clubsport 20-inch forged wheels that uses 255/35 tires for the front axle and 285/30 tires for the rear one.
The extra beef also means that the vehicle has been fitted with an upgraded suspension (this offers a high level of adjustment) and a new braking system.
As for the interior, this has received a new speedometer, which measures up to (400 km/h / 249 mph), carbon-fiber trimming, as well as a new steering wheel.
The G-Power M6 Huricane RR can be yours for EUR252,100 ($346.330 at the current exchange rates). We’ll remind you that that standard M6 is no longer available as a new, due to the fact that the model has gone out of production.
