BMW M6 Hurricane CS, the 228 MPH Bimmer

Who says that a car created by one of the world's most famous sport car divisions doesn't need tweaking every now and then? Let's take an M6 for instance, the German manufacturer's bulked up 6 series. Apparently, the 500+ horsepower developed from its 5.0l V10 engine isn't enough for German tuner G-Power.

What they came up with is a way bigger, 750 horsepower engine. Thanks to it (a twin supercharged V10 SK III RS unit), the Hurricane has a bone breaking top speed of 367.4 km/hour (228 mph). To help it do that, G-Power even tampered with the car's weight, making it lose 24 kg out of its exhaust system alone. Unfortunately, due to the capacity of the 255/30 ZR 21 and 295/25 ZR 21 tires, the top speed has been limited to 340 km/hour (211 mph).

The engine delivers its peak torque of 800 Nm at 5,000 rpm. Naught to sixty is achieved in under 4.4 seconds. Wearing Clubsport suspension packages, the G-Power M6 Hurricane has no problem tackling those high speeds.

Visually, alterations to the body of the car are both striking and useful. Apart for the somewhat unfortunate choice of color, the Hurricane boasts all modifications required for both esthetics and aerodynamics. The wide body kit is made exclusively from carbon fiber (due to the same weight requirements) and consists of front apron, bonnet with vents, rocker panels, wheel arches attachments, rear aprons with diffusor and a rear spoiler wing.

The car is available for purchase and G-Power plans on selling it with a starting price of 360,000 euros.
