Renault plans to introduce the next generation of the Megane models during this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
Going with Renault’s “Drive the Change” strategy that includes six categories (love, explore, family, work, play and wisdom), the new Megane model will fit well as the company’s ‘Work’ model. As with the previous versions, it will be offered in several body styles - five-door hatch, estate and a three-door coupe, which will probably generate the Renaultsport version.
As far as the engine range is concerned, the new Renault Megane is expected to receive the new 90 hp 0.9-liter TCe petrol engine as well as the 1.2-liter TCe that generates 120 hp, bolted to a Renault EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) transmission.
The new Renault Megane is expected to hit the showrooms in late 2013 or early 2014. Stay tuned as we will keep you updated with more info as soon as it will be available.
