Since 2013 marks Harley-Davidson's 110th anniversary, we're positive we'll be getting a massive amount of H-D ads and for now here's one more, also on the tough side of life.
Even though we're not at all sure that the rough boy theme is still working to draw in new customers, we must say that this commercial is a pretty straightforward one with a rather simple and clean message, which is thousandfold better and easier to stomach than this already famous sexist H-D ad.
However, we still get to see more urban riding and less of the “open highway, wind in your hair” stuff older riders were used to back in the day. For a company which used to brag on the “free spirit”, we daresay the present is a little too much on the “ stuck in a traffic jam in the hot city” side.
With Indian Motorcycles making a strong comeback with new, fresh Polaris backup, we're really looking forward to see their first bikes and commercials. We can only hope we're not going to see “city-heroes” once more, for a change. Since Indian is back, they'd better be back in the wide open, too. Reading this, Harley-Davidson?
