← Continued from Page 1 of "Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 Video Guide: All About SUVs and Concepts"2016 Jaguar F-Pace
Every petrolhead wants to buy the F-Type sportscar but is forced to get an SUV because he has kids. Well, now there's no more need for compromise, as Jaguar has built its first SUV.
The name, F-Pace, is derived from Sir William Lyons' maxim of "grace, pace and space". Another thing you need to know is that Jaguar are calling it a crossover because their friends at Land Rover already make the practical Discovery Sport.
It comes with a choice of three different engines, all of which are shared with the XE sedan. If it's got the "S" badge on, that means we are dealing with the most exciting model, equipped with a supercharged V6 that delivers 380 PS, just like the F-Type.
There is also going to be a V6 diesel rated at 300 PS to give the Porsche Macan S Diesel a run for its money. But the vast majority of buyers will opt for the 2-liter diesel. The numbers are not as important as the driving experience and the beauty, so just enjoy the video.
Do you remember the Lotus Esprit 'Wet Nellie' from old Bond movies? That car catapulted Lotus into the history books. At the time, this became the most successful film franchise in the world, but the Lotus it can't hold a candle to what the Jaguar C-X75 can do.
Somewhat similar to an F1 car, the C-X75 is powered by a twincharged 1.6-liter petrol engine along with two electric motors. It will star in the next installment of James Bond alongside the Aston Martin DB10 and several Land Rovers
Released at the 2010 Paris Motor Show as only a concept, the C-X75 was never allowed to enter production. Jaguar made a road-going version of the concept for the James Bond 007 Spectre film, where it will play the villain vehicle of choice. It's good to be bad!
Everybody is sticking batteries into their cars at the moment, including the Chinese copycats. So what the Mercedes people did was to say "right, well what else can we do to make cars efficient." And they remembered aerodynamics play a huge roll.
The IAA is as slippery as a fish though you can also compare it to the Volkswagen XL1 when it comes to its drag coefficient. But while VW's 1-liter car is small, this is an imposing four-door coupe with glass everywhere and silver arrow proportions.
It does tricks too, as the rear extends, and the wheels cover themselves up to cut drag. Just like the Formula One cars, the IAA (Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile) has been designed entirely using computer simulations, without wind tunnel tests. Did we mention the interior will be put in the next E-Class, and the headlights are in the grille?

James Bond Spectre Jaguar C-X75
In my mind, this car has the most star power of the show. Sure, you've seen it before, and you probably don't even care about James Bond, but maybe I need to tell you a little story first.Do you remember the Lotus Esprit 'Wet Nellie' from old Bond movies? Mercedes IAA Concept
Forget about the S-Class Cabriolet – it's just like the Coupe only without the roof. If you want to see something truly unique, that has to be the IAA Concept. "Weird" is one word that describes it, "unique" is another.Everybody is sticking batteries into their cars at the moment, including the Chinese copycats.
