Now that the Ford Crown Victoria is dead, the Ford Police interceptors, the two mean machines based on the Taurus SHO and Explorer (yes, the order wasn’t alphabetical - we’d prefer the first to the latter, if we had a badge an a license to perform PIT maneuvers) are now ready to fill police department vehicle pools across the US.
According to a Ford statement, the Explorer performed better than the Chevy Tahoe police car. However, we were much more curios to see how the Taurus SHO fought against the Chevrolet Caprice and the Dodge Charger, but the carmaker didn’t want to talk about this.

Anyway, if you were planning to break the law, think again, these bad good boys just can’t wait to be used for pursuits.
