The EPA fuel efficiency rating for Ford’s new Police interceptor has been published and we have to tell you that it’s all a story with two sides: a good one and a better one. We shall start with the good one: bot the city and the highway rating shows that the fuel consumption has dropped by 25 percent compared to the Crown Victoria.
In addition to that, we have to remind you that a lot of police vehicles spend most of their time idling and here is where the EPA figures reveal an even greater increase in efficiency. To be more specific, we are talking about a 35 percent increase for the sedan and a 32 percent increase for the utility vehicle,
