Ford Launches Focus Ultimate Test Drive in Australia

Building on the experience it gained in advertising its models in unconventional ways (a practice which started a couple of years back with the new Fiesta), Ford is continuing to release the Focus model on more markets, by utilizing all the hints and cheats it got over the years.

To support the launch of the model in Australia, Ford announced it would give a brand new Focus for free to one lucky Aussie who manages to impress. And we don't mean impress with clothes or anything, but impress with a reality-show meets test drive unique experience.

Just as it did in the US, Ford will select 12 participants and send them on a six-week-long journey across the country. The participants will be asked to engage in six driver tests and at the same time film and blog about their experiences.

"The all-new Ford Focus raises the bar for Australian consumers by putting a world of intuitive technology, dynamic design and advanced performance at your fingertips," said David Katic, Ford Australia general manager marketing.

"Finding a new car that suits your needs can be a difficult process. By partnering with Australia’s number-one automotive sales website for the Focus Ultimate Test Drive Experience, we're giving Australians the chance to get behind the wheel and test the difference in a car that ticks all the boxes so they can share their findings with the rest of the country.”

All the drama will take place on Facebook, as usual. If you plan to become one of the 12 and have a shot at winning a new Focus, you may register by following this link.
