Built in only 4,038 units between 2004 and 2006, the Ford GT is one of the rarest vehicles produced in the 21st century. However, the regular GT is surpassed by the Heritage Edition, which spawned just 343 examples.
Finding one of these gems isn’t easy, but getting one that has less than 1,000 miles on its odometer would be nearly impossible, right? Well, not quite, as Auctions America is getting ready to sell one than was driven for only 80 miles. Eighty!
Painted in the iconic Gulf Oil livery that adorned the Le Mans-winning Ford GT40, this Heritage Edition GT will cross the block next month, when Auctions America will be hammering down large batch of vehicles in Fort Lauderdale (March 14-16).
The 2006 model year supercar comes with al four available options, including a McIntosh CD stereo system, lightweight BBS forged-aluminum wheels and color-matched Brembo brake calipers. Auctions America estimates it will fetch $360,000 - $400,000 and we’ll be back to report the final sum.
