Fully restored, the two-tone red over black painted hot rod is powered by GM 350 cubic inch Vortec V8 engine rated at 330 HP and a 700R4 overdrive transmission. It also features a Pete & Jake’s chrome front suspension, a Ford 9-inch with a four-bar coilover rear end, GM 11-inch disc brakes in the front, Ford drum brakes at the rear and a 16-gallon rear fuel tank.
In the cabin, the 3 Window Coupe sports a custom leather upholstery over Wiseguys seats, a LeCarra steering wheel, Ididit steering column, Lokar shifter, power windows and a Vintage Air temperature-control unit.
The mint-looking hot rod should fetch a respectable amount at Mecum's auction and, as we already mentioned, all proceeds will be donated to help find cures for cancer. A truly noble gesture by the owners.
