Flyers Eat 30 Kilos of Oranges to Avoid Ridiculously Expensive Airline Fees

The travelers needed just 30 minutes to eat all oranges 1 photo

Packing for a flight is much harder than it sounds at first glance, especially because the weight limits are just driving everyone insane.
And if there’s something I learned during these all years is never to pack something I’m not 100 percent sure I would need. Such as 66 pounds (30 kilos of oranges), that is.

Because that’s exactly what four Chinese travelers tried to get through the airport security check, as somehow they believed carrying all these oranges without someone asking any questions was totally possible.

Well, as they found out the hard way, boarding a plane with 66 pounds of orange is actually doable as long as they pay the extra airline fees. While we won’t comment too much on the ridiculously expensive fees for taking some extra luggage on a plane, the four travelers obviously didn’t agree to pay the charge.

But at the same time, they didn’t want to give up on the gigantic box of oranges they wanted to take back home from their business trip, so the solution they found got them ready for an overdose of vitamin C.

The four flyers decided to eat all the oranges because, you know, it’s always a good idea to ingest tons of fruits that increase the acid production in your stomach before you board a plane. And that’s exactly what they did, with the travelers telling the local media they only needed some 30 minutes to be able to burp out loud “mission complete” eventually.

The good news is they were eventually able to board the plane with 46 dollars in their pockets, lots of vitamin C in their bodies, and full bellies that were probably ready to explode the moment the aircraft took off. The bad news is that some suffered painful sores in their mouths because of the citrus, but there’s nothing a gigantic jar of honey can’t deal with.
