Fisker is currently ramping up deliveries of the Austrian-made Ocean One. But as more all-electric crossover SUVs arrive stateside, the young auto brand is gearing up to welcome prospective buyers. Here's what you can do at this location and what's coming for other parts of the US.
Even though the Ocean is made in Europe, early adopters benefitted from the EV tax credit before the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) entered into force. The reborn company asked pre-order holders to send a non-refundable deposit that guaranteed the signing of the buyer's agreement, which allowed US buyers to take advantage of the $7,500 federal incentive.

Now that the delivery of the 5,000 Ocean Ones is well underway, Fisker is concentrating on making itself known to the world. Nothing says "I'm a serious business!" more than a physical location where customers can interact with the products and company employees.

Henrik Fisker – the designer that envisioned the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9, and Aston Martin V8 Vantage – has now taken a try at creating a welcoming environment for his and his wife's company's customers.

"I'm super excited for customers to not only experience the Fisker Ocean, but also the vision I had in designing a timeless space for our flagship Lounge in Los Angeles," said the executive.

The Lounge is opening to anyone who wants to dive into the Fisker universe on Saturday at the well-known shopping and dining center called The Grove.

The two-story showroom will enable interested parties to learn more about Fisker's vehicles – the Ocean, the PEAR, the Alaska pickup truck, and the expensive and limited-edition Ronin GT.

The brand says that The Lounge encapsulates its values and underlines that it boasts a sophisticated aesthetic thanks to "curved lines, smooth textures, and elegant lighting." Besides seeing the vehicles and signing up for test drives, interested parties will be able to discover just how much recycled material the Ocean crossover SUV includes.

Henrik Fisker will be present at the inauguration of the automaker's first Lounge. The company confirmed that more such locations would appear in the US and Europe but promised that Centers+ sites would be established stateside and over the pond. The LA center will serve as muse to upcoming similar locations.

Fisker's LA Lounge is open seven days a week, but the hours differ – Thursday from 10 AM – 9 PM PT, Friday-Saturday from 10 AM – 10 PM PT, and Sunday from 11 AM – 8 PM PT.

Be mindful of the weather if you plan to visit Fisker's first flagship lounge. An unprecedented tropical storm watch was issued for Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Heavy rain brought by Hurricane Hilary is expected.

Car shows on TV and his father's Fiat Tempra may have been Florin's early influences, but nowadays he favors different things, like the power of an F-150 Raptor. He'll never be able to ignore the shape of a Ferrari though, especially a yellow one.
