Thanks to the 2017 Ford GT being a global performance effort, Old Continent aficionados also get to enjoy the charms of the supercar and the focus (no pun intended) currently sits on the Netherlands.
That's because an example of the GT has arrived in the country earlier this week and you are now looking at it - lens tip to Ricent-Carspotting for these images, which allow us to get a taste of the Frozen White-finished machine.
The velocity animal, which is currently enjoying the safety of a Ford dealer, will charm the public during an event called Ford Fan Day.
Scheduled for Sunday, September 4th, the Blue Oval gathering will take place at the Nationaal Militair Museum in Soest - judging by the kind of firepower this Ford provides, the locations seems like a perfect match.
If you happen to attend the event with an intention to buy one of these speed demons, the road to acquisition is long and winding. As you probably remember, the automaker has already sent out the allocations for the 500 lucky owners who get to spend their money on the limited production vehicle, with over 6,000 of those who had expressed their intention to buy one being left waiting.
Nevertheless, while the first 500 cars, which will be built over the initial two years of productions, have found owners, Ford promised it would deliver an extra two years of production.
The carmaker didn't say what that means in terms of units, though, so we can only assume another 500 people will get their hands on one of these supercars. But there's a massive grain of salt to be added here, since the automaker is simply testing the market for now, so the final production number could be much greater than that.
The company also mentioned that the new list of those who make it to Ford heaven won't just include people who were denied the privilege during the first wave of applications, but also newcomers. So yes, you still have a chance of grabbing one.
