When you're young, cars have a completely different dimension to them. That little toy in your hand can leap over any obstacle, can even run over your Superman action figure and also doubles as a submarine when it's bath time. You all know what I mean!
I want to wash away years of mechanical knowledge for a second and bring back childhood memories with an awesome comicbook page that's made out of the same stuff as legends.
This is the work of comic artist Mikolaj Spionek, who combined his love for concept art and mythology with cars, rally cars to be more precise. We have four cool renderings which appear to be part of a Polish story that even features legendary wheelman and Formula One ace Robert Kubica.
By far our favorite image features a fictional Ford Fiesta rally car that's being chased by Vikings though a snow-covered landscape. These aren't any ordinary Vikings though. The big guy with a white beard and an eyepatch is Odin, the god who rules over all of Asgard and the father of Thor.
Racing an all-wheel drive rally car on snow while chased by the most powerful gods of Norse mythology – that's what every child's dream is really made of, right?
