Here are two words that we never thought we'd use in the same phrase: (Tesla) Cybertruck and dull. However, Fiat's latest Pick-Up Concept (we kid you not, that is the study's official name) is a far more appealing proposal. Here's to seeing it in production with an almost identical design language.
Presented alongside four other concepts by Olivier Francois, the Fiat CEO, and Stellantis Global CMO, in a video shot in Ginevra, Italy, the new Pick-Up Concept is a futuristic proposal that the brand hopes will replicate South America's Strada workhorse success on a larger scale worldwide.

Said to mix the "functionality of an LCV (light commercial vehicle)" with the "comfort of an SUV" and open-bed design that allows it to haul some large items, it targets the urban jungle and looks very aggressive with its swollen fenders, futuristic lighting signature, hidden door handles, and floating-style roof.

It is not the Fiat Pick-Up Concept that kicks off the video but the City Car Concept. The Italian automaker says it's larger than the current Panda and sports a design inspired by the Lingotto building in Turin, which is the company's birthplace. It's a boxy crossover with an oval-shaped dashboard that features lots of recycled materials.

Next up is the Fastback Concept. Fiat describes it as an heir to the Fastback in Brazil and the Tipo in the Middle East and Africa. Its production version will launch in worldwide markets, including Europe and Latin America, and as it stands, it is a crossover coupe with a very small front overhang that appears to have come from a sci-fi movie.

Fiat's fourth concept is simply called the SUV. It is "sort of a Giga-Panda," and it is basically an enlarged version of the Fastback mentioned above from what we can see, with a far more spacious cargo area and a few other bits and bobs.

Last but not least, the Fiat Camper Concept follows the van life trend. The Stellantis-owned car marque says it is "the ultimate do-it-all vehicle," an ode to the '80s Panda, sporting crossover features and made for the urban jungle. It has a boxy appearance, front and rear lighting signature akin to the studies mentioned above, and a spacious cabin that doubles as a home away from home.

Would you like to see some of these concepts on the road? Well, you are in luck, as all of them preview production models that the automaker believes will further boost its annual sales (1.3 million units sold in 2023). According to the Italian car manufacturer, the first one will debut in its final form this July, celebrating Fiat's 125th anniversary. Subsequently, the company will introduce a new one every year until 2027.
