Ferrari Releases FF Photo Oasis

Modern times see automotive producers enter new segments and even create such areas of the market in their race for financial success. The latest development related to such a border crossing is the Ferrari’s Four. And what a development, we might add. Judging by the tech data of the car, the Prancing Horse has outdone itself.

Of course, such a vehicle is the best possible source for marketing ammunition. Ferrari knows this and is taking advantage of it, by releasing one photo set after another. The company’s latest media assault shows the FF in the desert and also allows us to enjoy the reason of the entire project, the 2+2 interior.

We’ll remind you that the FF is powered by a direct-injected V12 unit that allows the driver to play with 660 hp and 683 Nm. The powerplant pushes the four-seater past the 62 mph mark in 3.7 seconds and, if the person behind the wheel keeps pushing the gas pedal, allows it to hit a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph). And get this: the unit is no eco-hating monster as it uses Ferrari’s HELE (High Emotions- Low Emissions) System that incorporates Stop&Start technology. Thus, it emits 360 grams of CO2 per km, a figure that can be trnaslated into a 25 percent reduction compared to the previous V12 engines.

The power is sent to the road using Ferrari’s 4RM four-wheel-drive system. The rear axle is the primary one, but the PTU (Power Transfer Unit) makes sure that the front axle also gets enough power when this is necessary.
