Ever since things got a bit mixed up at the Tower of Babel, people have been trying to understand what those from other countries have to say. Sure, you can learn foreign languages, but to master one takes quite some time, depending on which one we’re talking about, so why not turn to the simpler solution?
Which solution? Engine sounds. The adjacent video is a perfect example of how engine growls can allow people from different nations to understand each other. The clip, which was filmed by Youtube user Jorrie2, was captured at the Gran Turismo Events that took place on Spa Francochamps in Belgium. Jorrie2 was driving along through the parking lot, when he saw a Rosso Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia.
He started talking to the owner, but the man came from Sweden, so he didn’t quite understand what he had to say, as he hadn’t gone through the effort of learning English. However, when the man in the Prancing Horse was asked to make “Vroem! Vroem! Vroem!”, he immediately got the idea and revved the V8, offering everybody a nice soundtrack. Happy End.
