Seeing a new Ferrari model debut is a pretty rare occasion, but we are currently in a time that sees the carmaker going crazy with the development of fresh vehicles. Last year the Prancing Horse gave the world the FF, this year it introduced the F12 Berlinetta and it is now reportedly preparing to introduce a new flagship model, a successor for the Enzo.
Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo recently told Automotive News that the company wants to present the vehicle to a select audience by the end of the current year. As for the official debut of the car, this is scheduled for either the 2013 North American International Auto Show or the Geneva Motor Show 2013.

The details on the vehicle are limited, but earlier reports indicate that it will use the company’s new 7.3-liter V12 (the one featured on the FF and F12 Berlinetta), which will be helped by a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), with the combined output expected to sit at 920 hp.
