The long-awaited replacement for the Ferrari Enzo is almost here, yet the Italian manufacturer is still choosing to keep it completely covered up, and they`ve done it so well, that even now, we still don`t really know what it will look like.

Before its official reveal, which is set to take place early next year, possibly at the Detroit Motor Show, all we have to go by are some spyshots, and most recently, a short video of it testing around Ferrari’s home track, the Fiorano.

Alongside it, we also see something very interesting. According to autogespot.com, it is a racier version of the 458, which will be called the Monte Carlo. Apparently it is the equivalent of the 360CS (Challenge Stradale) and, more recently, the 430 Scuderia.

If it does turn out to be the real thing, then we would expect a modest power increase, racier settings for the suspension, steering and damping, as well as a reduction in weight, all of which will be kept on the road, at the slightly higher speeds it will most likely achieve, by a host of ‘aero’ bits bolted on, as well as new and stickier tires.
