Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, Ferrari F430 Scuderia – these hardcore V8 supercars were such excellent track machines they’re still famous today.

Competitors are starting to go after the 458’s title, and there’s only so much Ferrari can do without deviating from the everyday supercar formula. Fortuntetely, there’s a more hardcore version of the 458 Italia on the way, and it’s called the “Monte Carlo”.

The 458 Monte Carlo has been spotted testing for the first time on the famous Fiorano track. And though it’s just a black blip on your monitors right now, this video proves the car at least exists. It’s a bit like a Bigfoot sighting, but better.

How so? Well, Monte Carlo rumors have been around for a few months. Supposedly, it has a tweaked V8 engine producing 50 more hp for a total of 620 hp. This will be a hardcore track machine that can still live on the road.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
