The BMW brand must be the favorite child of the aftermarket realm. From time attack Bimmers that deliver amazing lap times to your neighbor's supped-up E36, there are infinite shades when it comes to moddyfying the Bavarian driving machines. However, none of the white-and-blue monsters we've seen to date happen to be as quick as the one we're here to showcase.
In a way, the contraption that brought us here is an E34 M5. However, if we look outside the engine compartment, this missile doesn't have too many things in common with the purist-praised naturally aspirated straight-six-animated M5. Speaking of which, if you can't get a chance to experience the might of the E34 M5 in real world, you should at least enjoy its handling balance in the Forza gaming series.

Sure, the S58 inline-six motor is a common point, hence the super-sedan mention. However, the motor has received a built blow and now works with a turbo the size of South Africa (that's where this build come from). The output? All we know so far is that we're talking about a four-digit horsepower number.

As for what is found around that M5-borrowed engine, we're looking at a Pro Mod tool here. The racecar, which obviously comes with a custom chassis, has recently landed in the US.

And once it got off the ship that transported it to America, the Pro Mod racer was taken straight to an event called Import vs Domestic - World Cup Finals 2018. That's where the monster showcased its potential, pulling amazing quarter-mile runs.

To be more precise, the racecar managed to play the 1/4-mile game in 6.51 seconds, while its trap speed sat at 216 mph (make that 348 km/h). And, as far as we know, this makes it the world's quickest (Elapsed Time) and fastest (Trap Speed) BMW.

Thanks to the piece of footage below, you'll get to see the four-wheel monster in action, as well as listen to the man behind its wheel.
