F1 Boss Ecclestone Looking to Buy Nurburgring?

Honestly, we really couldn’t fathom the automotive world without the mecca of speed that is the Nurburgring track. This German piece of racing asphalt has been the birthplace for many of the most exciting cars in the world, and enthusiasts all over the world are concerned right now with the track being on the verge of collapsing due to bankruptcy.
Help could be coming from none other than Bernie Ecclestone, the highly controversial and criticized boss of Formula One, according to various reports from the German media.

"I want to meet the people from the Nurburgring," Ecclestone told German newspaper Buld this week. "We want to see if we can help them."

Despite this, The F1 boss reportedly said that a Formula One race at the Nurburgring will not take place at his expense.

The Nurburgring is found in the current situation due to lans that its management took out in order to turn the mecca of speed into a tourist destination, complete with an amusement park.
