Well, this is it! The 2014 Toyota Corolla your going to get if you you’re living in Europe. Set to be introduced in Istanbul, Turkey, later today, the eleventh-generation Corolla showed up in European clothes as well.
Sporting a slightly modified design when compared to the US version, the Turkish-built Corolla has received different front and rear ends, similar to those you’ve seen in a couple of leaked pictures that surfaced on the www back in February.
Inside, the new spacious cabin looks basically the same, except for the instrument panel and the air conditioning. It also has the Lexus-ish touch we’ve been talking about earlier today, so there’s no need to worry about getting a lesser US Corolla.
While engine information has yet to be released, the 2014 Corolla should become available with the same engines fitted in the Toyota Auris hatchback, including the 1.3-liter unit. Pricing is also a mystery for the time being, but we’ll be right back as soon as the Japanese automaker spills the beans.
