Japanese automaker Toyota has published a new set of photos with the 2014 Corolla sedan in European clothes. Introduced a month ago, with a slightly modified design when compared to the US version, the Istanbul-built Corolla will hit the market with a range of four gasoline and one diesel engine.
As we already told you when the Corolla made its public debut, the company’s best-selling vehicle gained the Auris hatchback’s 1.3-liter engine for the base model. The 2014 Corolla will go on sale with three more gasoline units - the 1.6-liter Dual VVT-i, the new 1.6-liter Valvematic, the 1.8-liter Dual VVT-i - and the 1.4 D-4D turbodiesel powerplant.
Power figures range from 90 PS to 140 PS, while fuel economy can be as low as 5.6 liters/100km (1.3-liter) and reach 6.6 liters/100 km (1.6-liter Valvematic). Depending on equipment and features, the new Corolla will be available in three trim levels - Live, Active and Lounge.
Pricing for the European 2014 Corolla has yet to be revealed, but we will get back on the subject as soon as Toyota makes an official announcement. Until then, check out the 65 new pictures in our photo gallery section below.
