You could easily summon the 'Last Call' special editions as the quintessential Dodges for the Mopar enthusiast - and you would be right, even in Europe, not just at home in America.
It has been known for a while already – Stellantis has ordained for Dodge to join the EV revolution with the production version of the zero-emissions Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept. At home in the United States, that means order books will be closed on the V8-powered Challenger and Charger models – albeit only after people have their fill of the 2023 model year and no less than seven 'Last Call' special editions.

The culmination of those, of course, is "the most Dodge Dodge," as the commercial says in the video embedded below – the company's Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170. But the other six are nothing to sneeze at, of course. And, even better, they are not confined solely to their home market, as it turns out.

Back in March, we found out – quite unexpectedly – that Stellantis allowed Dodge to propose the 'Last Call' special editions to fans on the Old Continent. The surprise was entirely welcomed, but there are caveats – only five of the seven muscle car limited editions would make the cross-continental journey across the big pond (aka the Atlantic Ocean), with the exceptions being the Charger King Daytona and the Challenger SRT Demon 170, of course.

Now, Dodge's 'Last Call' to Europe continues with the addition of the third and fourth special editions after the introductory Dodge Challenger Shakedown and the Dodge Challenger Black Ghost follow-up from May. Now, the two special edition models are the Challenger R/T Scat Pack and Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger, both featuring shades of green and harking back to the brand's iconic past for some retro inspiration.

The references are to "the unique style of the Dodge brand's 'swinging' muscle car lineup of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The two original models were style icons, packed formidable horsepower into a compact package, and included 'groovy' options, such as green-on-green interior/exterior color combinations, gold color accents, and wood panel interior touches." Now, their modern counterparts make use of contemporary technology to evoke the good times of the past.

For example, both are powered by the 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine mated to the Torqueflite eight-speed automatic transmission and swinging 485 horsepower, as per typical Ford Mustang GT-fighting configurations. However, the special edition 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack Swinger and Charger R/T Scat Pack Swinger will only be available in a limited series of 55 units, all rocking the Widebody form and only available in F8 Green and Sublime Green exterior colors.

There are also "Swinger" cursive graphics on the rear fenders as a further throwback to the original models, while shared interior goodies also join the retro-themed exteriors: "the Gold School Scat Pack, Retro Swinger rear fender graphics, 20-by-11-inch Gold School wheels, Black six-piston Brembo brakes, Mod Grain wood-like aluminum interior bezel texture, Nappa/Alcantara seats with green stitching and green Dodge Rhombi logo, Green Swinger interior instrument panel badge, Green interior accent stitching on console and doors."

Additionally, the 2023 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack Swinger features some distinguishing elements, such as the Gold School details, a painted Shaker intake, and the Bee badges on the fenders. Now that four of the five 'Last Call' special editions have been announced for Europe, all that remains is to wait for the final member of the limited series' family – aka the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee.
