A 2023 mean green 0 to 60 machine that goes by the name of Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 with no reserve was donated to an auction so that the proceeds will be split evenly among three charities: the Special Forces Association Chapter 79, 5th Squad, and Jared Allen's Home for Wounded Warriors. While the Demon's horsepower and looks are legendary, it could very well be that the odometer is the thing to look out most for.
This 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 comes packing a sweet-as-wine 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine aided by a three-liter supercharger that can produce 1,025 horsepower (1,039 ps) and 945 pound-feet (1,281 Nm) of torque.

This baby has been seen hitting 60 mph in just 1.66 seconds, which is beyond insane in any reality, let alone one where an ICE vehicle is capable of this.

Our auction-off Challenger features the SRT Demon 170 package worth almost $20,500 and the $16,605 SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody Package-27Q option with SRT performance spoiler and SRT Alcantara steering wheel. One of the best features of this Demon is that it only ran for 54 miles or 87 kilometers.

Other features include a Torqueflite 8-speed automatic transmission with Autostik, Brembo 4-piston disc brakes with yellow logo, sound insulation delete, air grabber hood, rear body flares, black brake calipers, real carbon fiber interior accents.

Not long ago, a blue-painted Demon 170 was spotted drag-racing a Tesla Model S Plaid, which is no slouch either. Elon's Plaid baby can produce 1,020 hp and 1,050 lb-ft (1,424 Nm) of torque.

Luckily for ICE enthusiasts, the blue Demon obliterated the Tesla three times in a row down the 1/8 mile. A while back, in February 2024, this very same SRT Demon 170 managed to speed down the quarter mile in 9.185 seconds at 146.14 mph or 235.18 kph.

The Demon 170 will be present at the NRG Center in Houston, Texas, along with 1,000 other vehicles, between April 4-6. The price sticker for this model says $124,741.

Recently, there's been a wave of seller refusals regarding Dodge Demons. Some owners have refused to give their Demons away in past auctions for as much as $162,000 with 25 miles on it. This could very well be because people still long for the $180k+ days, which are pretty much done for.

The Special Forces Association Chapter 79 intends to educate and inform people about the history, present contributions, and future development of the US Army Special Forces. The 5th Squad is a non-profit, accredited veteran service organization from Mississippi that aims to care for all American and Allied veterans and their families.

Lastly, Jared Allen's Home for Wounded Warriors' mission is quite amazing: to build injury-specific, accessible, and mortgage-free homes for critically injured combat veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
