Ladies and gentlemen drivers, welcome to face swaps, a sub-genre of the rendering realm, one that seems to have become a trend. These visual stunts range from elaborate three-dimensional pieces coming from social media-famous digital artists to your decent "basement computer" work. And we are now looking at a fresh example of such a shenanigan, one that revolves around a Dodge Challenger Hellcat and then some.
To be more precise, the front fascia of the Challenger Hellcat Redeye has been fitted to the body of an icon, namely an E30 BMW M3, which was built between 1986 and 1991.

While the heart of the original M3 is its chassis, it's difficult to talk about the Challenger without dedicating quite a lot of the attention to the 7xx horsepower delivered by the supercharged 6.2-liter V8, so perhaps this is a pixel match made in heaven.

Interestingly, while the 2020 Dodge Challenger Hellcat comes with an MSRP of $60,695, there are multiple E30 M3s listed for this kind of price, even though this Motorsport Division pillar is a car that can take a buyer into the six-figure range.

Of course, the somewhat similar front fascias of the two rear-wheel-drive coupes also helps keep the mix stable, but we must keep one thing in mind: these pixels were put together with the goal to give one the giggles.

Meanwhile, in the real world, BMW is preparing to introduce the latest incarnation of the M3. Codenamed G80, this was spied on tons of occasions and will land by the end of the year. And yes, the AWD rumors are still going strong.

Dodge is also working on its next generation of its muscle cars these days (here’s a hint dropped by the automaker), albeit with the current Challenger and Charger expected to soldier on until the 2023 model year.
