If you look closely at what is going on with Stellantis' American brands, you might have noticed quite the uproar going on this time with Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, or Jeep.
Chrysler, which is a brand that's slowly dying away in the United States, just like Lancia in Europe, will try to revive itself with a big EV jolt in the future. There's talk of great battery-powered things over there, including a potential switch of the 300 nameplate to a zero-emissions lifestyle.

Dodge is dropping the V8-powered Challenger and Charger models, possibly even retiring one of the nameplates, and will offer nine levels of Banshee EV prowess when the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept finally makes it into Stellantis plants as a production model.

Ram, on the other hand, will also drop the V8s and rethink the truck strategy with inline-six Hurricane mills. At the same time, the 1500 REV will duke it out with the GMC Hummer EV, Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra EVs, plus the mighty Tesla Cybertruck. And, if we're lucky, we might even see the compact unibody Ram Rampage brawl with the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz in North America.

As for Jeep, the beloved off-road brand is not going through its greatest moments – its CEO was recently offloaded, presumably due to slowing sales (minus 12% in 2022 and another 12% drop after the first six months of the year) and the 2024 or 2025 Jeep Recon EV SUV is nowhere to be seen. Well, at least they are taking care of their ongoing models as the company refreshed the 2024 Wrangler SUV and its 2024 Gladiator pickup truck sibling this year.

Interestingly, the popular off-road division is getting help from all over the place – including the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. Just recently, the good folks over at the Q Cars channel on YouTube aimed to daze and amaze the audience with the potential styling of their vision for the refreshed Renegade SUV.

The B-class subcompact crossover SUV was introduced in 2014 for the 2015 model year as one of Jeep's most affordable models – it costs from $28,345 at home in the United States, while the Jeep Compass compact crossover SUV is just $5 more expensive at an MSRP of $28,400! However, they have different audiences as targets – Renegade is for the customers who dream of owning a Wrangler or Gladiator but don't need their bulkiness. At the same time, the stylish Compass is a fashionable CUV through and through.

As such, it is no wonder that the proposition stemming from the channel's resident pixel master for the fully redesigned, second-generation 2025 Jeep Renegade is a lot tougher than the norm – at least from the front. Because we suspect some AI-assisted software design tools are at play, there is never just one version of their design projects.

The same happens here – from the front, the unofficial 2025 Jeep Renegade is like a smaller Wrangler, while from the rear, the little SUV adopts a much more contemporary appearance, complete with sleeker body panels and even a full-width LED taillight strip. So, which one Is your favorite – the ruggedized Wrangler-like treatment or the sweeping design that makes it feel almost ready to join the EV revolution? Also, do take all of this with a healthy dose of salt – at least until we hear something official from Jeep itself.
