Electric road racing is slowly moving ahead, but at least things are not stagnant. For 2014, we've got another team going for eRoadRacing world glory: the Isle of Man-based Darvill Racing, recently inking an agreement with Brammo.
Darvill Racing Team will be using two factory-supported privateer machines, one in the Prototype 2 (P2) class and one in eSuperStock (eSS).
The two machines will be developed on the Empulse R platform, the most successful electric sport bike manufactured by Brammo. The TTXP2 prototype is currently being developed and will undergo extensive testing during the winter. The debut will be made at the Zolder Circuit in Belgium, in May 2014.
Darvill Racing Team is in discussion with several "guest" star riders, and will announce the 2014 line-up and main sponsor shortly.
