Terry Hershner is one of the guys whose names have been written down in the history book of electric motorcycling, but now he aims for even more electric glory. He will attempt to ride from San Diego to Florida in less than three days!
While the cross-country "electric record" belongs to Moto Electra and Thad Wolff, Hershner believes that he can lower the trip to 2 and a half days.

His motorcycle undergone even more modifications, with an aerodynamic tail constructed by the same amazing Craig Vetter and which is aimed at reducing the drag even more.

With extra battery packs added and a smart choice for adapters, terry can now use the J1772 plug into a NEMA 14-50 outlet he can even in laundromats.

And using a bevy of Elcon 2500 PFC chargers he placed on the bike, his 18 kWh battery pack can be connected to more charging stations, reducing the charging time down to a mere hour.

Couple this with a 200-mile (320 km) range and we may be looking ahead to some really nice electric cross-county record-breaking.
