In case you thought that April Fools’ Day jokes are over, here we are ruining it for you. It’s Lotus’ turn this time as the British sportscar maker has just posted a series of pictures with this fellow picking up his new car. The fellow might look like Daniel Craig, but the car is, in fact, the Evora 400, the auto manufacturer's latest addition that is months away from reaching the market.
Not that we wouldn’t like to see the beauty cruising the streets already. You never know, we might get our hands on one when the time is right. After all, ever since we had the chance to take a closer look at it at the Geneva Motor Show, we’ve been constantly wondering what is so new about it.

The 2+2 mid-engined sportscar made an appearance in Geneva but like we were saying last time, there’s not a lot new to it. Other than its styling cues which have changed, it rather seems like the Evora 400 received a body kit on the same chassis instead of a proper facelift.

In specs, Lotus’ sportscar comes with 406 ponies and 302 lb-ft (410 Nm), squeezed from the Toyota-sourced 3.5-liter V6 engine, that was enhanced with a bigger supercharger.

Getting back to Lotus’ little prank, Daniel Craig is not actually the man showing up at the dealership and the car is not really for sale. Heck, for what is worth the guy might as well be one of the sales people working there.
