Danica Patrick Making Plans for Full-Time Run in NASCAR

{img1 }Danica Patrick, the race driver who proves that some women can drive probably better than most men do, plans for substantial changes in her motorsports carrier. Patrick’s 2012 racing schedule is s bit crowded but in a good way. Reports are surfacing saying that Danica Patrick is heading towards a full-time move for NASCAR in 2012, she will be running a Nation Wide Series with JR Motosports and limited Sprint Cup Series races with Tony Stewart’s team.

Furthermore Danica’s plans also include her continuing to run the Indiananapolis 500. Dale Eamhardt Jr. co-owner of JR Motorsports revealed last weekend that he wants Patrik to run a full Nationwide program for his team. Danica has driven 19 Nationwide races for his team over the last two seasons and there are scheduled six more for this year.

"I would like for her to run fulltime, and I'm sure she is considering that, and I think she would enjoy it. I feel confident that she's content where she is and happy with what we're doing. I think things are looking positive for us to put something together.
"Dale Eamhardt was quoted as saying by the Associated Press.

Although Danica Patrick has won 19 Nationwide races , she was close to a new victory last month at Daytona, leading 13 laps before the last lap mayhem pushed her back at the 10th finish position.Dale Eamhardt Jr. revealed his appreciation for Danica saying that: "She's way ahead of the curve. We've had the opportunity to put several drivers in that car, and her performance is right on par with all those drivers. We started out struggling and she had a steep, steep climb to go and she's really come a long way. I'm excited about what the potential is with her going forward."as related by the aforementioned source.
