Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa told MotoGP.com that he was impressed by his rookie tem mate Marc Marquez' riding in the first official training at Sepang, Malaysia last week.
Pedrosa, who has been racing since 2001, added that he did not need to see Marquez riding for too long to realize that the young Spaniard had a great potential: "I didn't share much track time with him - only two or three corners - but his style is really impressive. He hangs off the bike a lot and has achieved great times so far. "

2013 is the first MotoGP season for 19-years-old Marc Marquez and so far his pre-season riding turned out exceptional results. Already thought of as possibly beings the "next Valentino Rossi", Marquez managed to arrive in the third position at the end of the first two test days in Malaysia, just behind Pedrosa and Lorenzo, and ahead of Rossi.

What's even more important than the placement is the fact that Marc Marquez had a minor gap form the riders in front of him, thus proving he can keep up with the high pace the other significantly more experienced riders imposed.

We'll definitely keep a close eye on Marquez for the next tests and are looking forward to see him ride in Qatar, as the 2013 season kicks off.
