With 350 Lamborghinis touring Italy and stretching on a 4.8 km (2.8 miles) convoy, something had to happen. One of the supercars managed to hit another one on the first leg of the Grand Giro.
Traveling from Milan to Forte dei Marmi in the first leg of the tour, a Lamborghini Countach LP400 failed to stop in time and hit the backside of another Countach, a high performance 5000QV model. Luckily, no one was hurt and both cars are fully reparable as you can see from the video bellow. The minor incident won't stop the 190,000 hp Lamborghini lineup to continue the Grand Giro that will end on May 11th in Sant'Agata Bolognese.

The Lamborghini Countach LP400 was powered by a 4-liter V12 engine, producing 375 PS. Bolted to a five-speed manual transmission, the two-seater supercar could reach the 100 km/h (62 mph) mark on the speedo in 5.4 seconds from a standstill, while reaching a top speed of 309 km/h (192 mph).
