There’s no limit to what you can do if you have the time and the creativity, and are willing to put in the work. One of our readers tipped ups about a slightly strange but very interesting project that carries automotive branding.
It’s a compute case, built by Derek Smith for one of his friends. The system is built using older parts, but the most impressive part about this PC is not its AMD Quad Core Cooler or, the USB slots or the 260GB SATA 2 hard drive.
This case isn’t about playing games, it’s about being the center of attention. The sides of the case are covered with Bubinga Gloss Wood Vinyl to mimic that old-school look of an Aston Martin dash. There’s also a bit of modernist feel, as the front is covered in fake carbon fiber and adorns an Aston Martin winged logo. A car clock from a 20106 Mercury Millan and some bittons with blue backlights complete the look.
