When designing the Atlantique lineup, Italy-based Columbus Yachts focused on finding the perfect balance between elegance and versatility. Boasting a fusion of classic sailing yacht aesthetics with elements inspired by Italian GT sports cars, the models in this series have started to prove market attractiveness and are bound to become best-sellers for the brand.
The shipbuilder, which is part of the world-renowned Palumbo Superyachts, has announced the sale of the first 121-foot (37-meter) Atlantique yacht, which will begin construction in the coming weeks at the Savona shipyard of Palumbo Superyachts and is set to be delivered in 2025.

The Atlantique range, originally introduced in 2021, includes models from 121 feet to 180 feet (37 meters to 55 meters) in length, each appealing to different categories of yacht owners. Although it's the smallest in the series, the Columbus Atlantique 37 makes no compromises in terms of cruising luxuries.

Sporting external lines and interior design signed off by Hot Lab studio and naval engineering by the experts at Palumbo Superyachts, the new vessel boasts an all-aluminum hull and impressive interior volume (330 gross tons), allowing for the inclusion of mainly the same features as the larger models in the range.

The design is focused on offering guests onboard an exceptional experience traveling by sea. As such, Hot Lab's designers made sure to guarantee a seamless transition between spaces and a constant interaction with the marine environment. The yacht's silhouette is characterized by clean, elegant lines, with a touch of sportiness noticeable especially in the notched superstructure sections. The classic sailing yacht inspiration, on the other hand, is visible particularly in the curved, open transom.

The stern area is actually one of the on-deck highlights. It includes a beach club with lateral-folding bulwarks and a panoramic swimming pool that seems to be hovering just above the waterline. That's because it sits about 50 centimeters (1.5 feet) above the ocean. Open transoms equipped with pools are not something you usually see on superyachts in the 121-foot (37-meter) size range, which makes the Atlantique 37 even more appealing to prospective customers.

Accommodation-wise, the vessel is set to be built with a spacious stateroom layout comprising four double cabins with ensuite bathrooms on the lower deck and a sumptuous owner's suite located forward on the main deck. The latter will also feature an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe.

In terms of common areas that facilitate conviviality and socialization, the shipyard highlights two dining areas. The first one is located on the external main deck and offers far-extending views off the stern, while the second is on the upper deck and has seating for ten. This interior dining space is surrounded by large circular windows that slide open with either an up-down or lateral movement and ensure a deeper connection with the surrounding ocean. These little details are the kind of luxuries that greatly enhance the onboard experience.

Columbus Yachts hasn't yet revealed the full details regarding interior design, but the renderings released so far show a warm, contemporary aesthetic with floor-to-ceiling glazing, natural materials, low-profile furniture, and marble feature walls.

As it turns out, the European owners of Atlantique 37 plan to have two tenders aboard. That's why the yacht is designed with not one but two garages. One is located starboard and can fit a tender measuring about 14.5 feet (4.45 meters) long. A second 10.5-foot (3.25-meter) tender and a rescue boat will be housed beneath a bow hatch.

Equipped with 2000 hp MAN engines, the Columbus Atlantique 37 will reach a maximum speed of 22 knots (25 mph or 41 kph) and a cruising speed of 19 knots (22 mph or 35 kph).
