We can't really tell you to "start your engines!", since the game won't be available until later this year, but you might want to take our advice and start warming those fingers up!
After a spectacular debut trailer, Codemasters has released the first GRID 2 gameplay teaser. Packed with several racing cars, the trailer introduces its future players both to track and street racing, in the usual shiny Codemasters recipe. The trailer starts on the Californian Coast with BMW E30 M3 Evolution, Ford Mustang Mach 1 and Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RS racing head-to-head and we are then transferred to Barcelona, Spain, for some night racing.
The Austrian Red Bull Ring track is introduced with a bunch of Ariel Atoms, BAC Monos and KTM X-Bows, while the McLaren MP4-12C and the Corvette Z06 Centennial are featured heading for Paris' Arc de Triumph. Finally, night racing returns in Chicago with three popular super cars: the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Nismo Z Tube, the Pagani Huayra, and the Koenigsegg Agera R.
The game's physics and level of detail seem quite impressive, and with so many highlights we're sure this trailer will keep you anxious until May 2013, when the game is set to be launched.
